 The Basket Gypsy carries a complete line of Krasco plastic baskets. These baskets are handwoven in Ohio using 100% recycled plastic milk bottles. A UV protector has been added to allow you to use them year ‘round in full sun without fear of the colors fading. Baskets can be plain or have color accent weaves in red, blue, green or a combination of red/blue/green and a “flag”
pattern (see below). We carry mostly tan baskets with color weave but do have a white and blue or white and green line for those Penn State and Eagles fans! The outside basket sleeves have no bottom and can be used to cover flowerpots ranging from 8" in diameter to 27" in diameter, or you can put one around your lamppost to dress it up! There are windowboxes, oval planters with leather handles and 2 styles of hanging baskets - all of these styles have pressure treated wood bottoms. We have beautiful rural mailboxes for roadside delivery or hanging mailboxes for next to your
door. We also carry the plastic flowerpots that fit in each of the sleeve sizes and the hanging baskets at reasonable prices.
For indoor use, we have two sizes of waste cans, hampers, carryalls,
stairsteps, serving trays and some unique designs for your bathroom. All are durable recycled plastic - clean up is a snap with household cleaner and a scrub brush!
We have partnered with several other companies to provide accessories for these baskets, too. Basket Accessories, our favorite lid-maker from Akron, PA, makes their beautiful maple lids to fit on the hampers, carryalls, large mail,
tanktop, tissue and bathroom baskets. Knobs are available to match the accent weaves in your basket - a great way to finish off your basket! We also carry several sizes of plastic protectors to fit inside the large and small mail baskets, serving tray and utensil basket.
